I have some large files that I have been backing up to DVD-R. They are over 4.7GB, some up to 10GB. So I use WinRAR to split the file into smaller 100MB chunks. Then I use QuickPAR to create PAR2.

I am having some problem with QuickPAR crashing, when trying to open the PAR2 files to verify the set. WinXP pops up a message to send to Microsoft.

What could be causing this crashing? Are my files too big? Is there a file naming convention problem? I have the file names starting with numbers and spaces in between...
